We are seeking a highly motivated Microsoft Office 365 Engineer to join our growing IT team. This role is ideal for an individual who has experience with Microsoft 365 (M365) tools, especially collaboration and communication platforms such as Teams and SharePoint and has the desire to expand their skills into Azure and Intune technologies. As an M365 Engineer, you will play a key role in evolving, managing, supporting, and optimizing the M365 environment to enhance our organization's productivity and communication.

Location
The position is a global and remote position, travel is required a few times per year to gather the team or participate in workshops or other visits.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

M365 Administration & Support: Manage and maintain the Office 365 suite of services, including Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Exchange Online, and related services.

Collaboration Tools Management: Oversee the configuration, implementation, Licensing, and ongoing administration of Microsoft Teams, SharePoint sites, and OneDrive, ensuring optimal functionality and user satisfaction.

User Support & Training: Provide together with our Service Desk end-user support for M365 products, troubleshoot issues, and assist with onboarding new users. Develop and deliver training materials to help users effectively utilize M365 tools.

Azure Integration: Collaborate with the team to begin leveraging Azure AD, Azure Identity Management, and other Azure services to enhance user management and security for M365 services.

Intune Support: Gain proficiency in Microsoft Intune for device management and work with the IT team to implement and maintain Intune policies for endpoint management.

Security & Compliance: Ensure M365 products are secure, compliant with company policies, and aligned with industry best practices. Assist with data loss prevention, security audits, and regulatory compliance within M365.

System Optimization & Performance Monitoring: Monitor system performance and user activity to identify areas for improvement or optimization within the M365 environment.

Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with infrastructure, security, and development teams to ensure M365 is integrated smoothly with other enterprise systems.

Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest O365, Azure, and Intune features, best practices, and emerging technologies. Take ownership of developing expertise in Azure and Intune to support the company’s broader IT goals.

Do you have experience in following?

Experience: At least 2-3 years of hands-on experience supporting and administering Microsoft 365 services (Teams, SharePoint, Exchange Online, OneDrive).
Familiarity with M365 Communication Tools: Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, and their integration with other M365 services.
Technical Skills: Experience with M365 administration, PowerShell scripting, and managing user access and permissions within M365.
Problem Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve issues related to Teams, SharePoint, and other M365 applications.
Collaboration and Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse teams and provide user training and support.
Have a flair for Automation and skilled with Power Automate, API integrations and latest automations
Desire to Learn: A strong interest in expanding knowledge and skills in Azure, Intune, and other Microsoft technologies. Prior exposure to Azure AD or Intune is a plus but not required.
