After successful funding rounds, over the past year, Samotics has seen a large surge in the successes and value generated for its growing customer base including Yorkshire Water, Anglian Water, DuPont and DSM. Now we are looking to maintain this exponential growth and meet increased customer demand for its analytics services.

About the team 👋

The Product Owner will be part of the Product Team that consists of the Head of Product and 3 Product Owners. As a Product Owner, you will work with software engineers, data scientists, Electrical Signature Analysis (ESA) specialists, Customer Success Managers and more. Together, these teams build Samotics’ two products:

SAM4 Health: an end-to-end predictive maintenance solution using ESA and AI to make our customers more resilient.
SAM4 Energy: an energy savings solution enabling industrials and utilities to become more sustainable.

Your challenge 🎯

As our product owner, you will be responsible for maximizing the value the product brings to our customers. You will own the product development priorities and serve as the bridge between the commercial teams and the development teams. You will:

Maximize the value of the product resulting from the work of the product teams.
Understand what is top of mind for our customers, partners and internal stakeholders.
Translate the product vision and product strategy into an actionable plan. Define what we create, for whom, why and with what priority.
Own the roadmap and backlog for two cross-functional product teams.
Build an understanding of the business context in the product teams.
Stimulate the agile mindset and work with the Scrum Master to bring the team to the next level.

Job Requirements

What you'll bring ⭐

You are an ambitious, enthusiastic and curious person who doesn’t shy away from making decisions. You love to use technology to solve our customers' biggest problems. You can easily connect with various people, including our engineers, customer success managers, customers, and partners.

5+ years of relevant experience (ability to understand what is valuable to the product).
Proven experience in product management (e.g., as product owner or product manager).
Proactive and highly motivated individual with effective communication skills.
University degree in a related field.
Fluent in English - the main language in Samotics.
