James served for over a year in the roles of campaign strategist and campaign manager for Jim Rubens' US Senate Campaign. In this role, James was responsible for developing Rubens' strategy, building his ground game, implementing earned media strategies, and serving regularly as a spokesman for the campaign. James developed a campaign plan, including creating the budget, identifying, interviewing, and hiring all staff and strategic partners. James designed and created all media collateral for the campaign including the logo, signage, flyers, print advertising, radio advertising, video advertising and digital advertisements.
