Local Healthcare Plans

We are excited to introduce our new local healthcare plans in the Netherlands, designed to provide locally compliant coverage and cater to your team's diverse healthcare needs. Below is a summary comparison table of the scope of health services offered under the two ONVZ healthcare plans: Basic and Benfit Plan. The table below highlights the primary healthcare services available, the differences in service options, and other notable features across these plans, ensuring you have all the information you need to select the best plan for your team members.
The rates listed here are for the May 1, 2025, to December 31, 2025 policy year. Pricing and benefits are subject to change in response to business and market changes and we will update you when those changes take place. You can email help@remote.com with any questions!

Basic Plan

Price & Coverage Options
You can directly support your team member's dependent coverage. The cost for each additional dependent (spouse or child) is the same as the employee’s rate.
Note that children under 18 are free of charge.

You Pay: €166.10/mo per person

  • If you elect Employee Only coverage, you are responsible for the cost of your team member only.
  • If you choose Family Coverage, you will cover the cost of all dependents added to the plan by your team member.

You Pay: €230.07/mo per person

  • If you elect Employee Only coverage, you are responsible for the cost of your team member only.
  • If you choose Family Coverage, you will cover the cost of all dependents added to the plan by your team member.

General Practitioner (GP) visits, Medical Specialist consultations, and Hospital admission

Psychological & Mental Health Care, Ambulance Transport, and Organ Transplants

Pregnancy & Childbirth

Covered 100% from personal contributions

Additional maternity care up to €250 per delivery

Maternity Package (products related to maternity such as mattress)

Physiotherapy (Chronic Conditions)

Covered up to 16 sessions per year​

Physiotherapy (Non-Chronic)

Limited to 9 sessions per medical condition (extendable to 18 with referral)

Cosmetic Camouflage Treatment, Laser Treatment & Electrical Epilation, and Acne Treatment

Up to €70, €350 and €200 for the mentioned cares

Dental care

Limited (oral surgery, dentures, specialist care)

Additional treatments, €500 of which €150 for preventive dental treatments

Glasses, Contact Lenses and Eye laser therapy

100% if medically required

€75 every 2 years

Worldwide cover

Only for scheduled treatments (on a reimbursement basis)

Additional emergency and repatriation cover
