About Frontier

Frontier is a subsidiary of Fresh Prints. Fresh Prints is a New York-based, fast-growing, fully remote, 150-person company with most of our team based in India and the Philippines. A few years ago, Fresh Prints began helping other fast-growing companies build their teams. We got so good at it that we spun out a new company to focus exclusively on that — and called it Frontier.

At Frontier, we help companies grow full-time, cross-functional teams abroad. We hire the smartest people and place them into the best companies. In three years, we’ve never lost a client. If you’re interested in a Frontier role and you apply and are accepted, we’ll screen you through assessments and interviews and aim to get you an interview for a full-time job within the month.

Think of us as your personal talent agent — and good luck with the application! 😊

Travel Consultant - Sabre GDS (Remote, Full-Time)

Industry: Travel & Aviation
Employment Type: Full-Time
Work Setup: Remote
Specialization: Sabre GDS, Airline Reservations, Travel Operations, Business & First-Class Travel

About Ascend

Ascend is a premium travel company helping founders, investors, and executives book international business-class and first-class flights at rates typically 30–80% below those found on traditional booking sites.

The company combines proprietary booking methods with round-the-clock personalized travel support through WhatsApp. Ascend has grown from 12 to 66 people in just over a year, is backed by Bessemer Venture Partners, and has grown revenue 5x year over year to more than $22M ARR.

Ascend's clients include founders, investors, and senior executives who expect fast, accurate, and polished travel service. They trust the team to manage complex, high-value international travel arrangements accurately from booking through final itinerary delivery.

The Role

We are hiring a Travel Consultant with hands-on Sabre GDS experience to support airline reservations, post-booking travel operations, itinerary management, invoicing, and payment verification for premium international travelers.

This role is ideal for someone with experience in Sabre, airline ticketing, PNR management, corporate travel, flight reservations, travel operations, or business and first-class travel who enjoys detailed, process-driven work.

Once a flight ticket has been issued by the Ticketing team, the booking is handed over to you. You will make sure the reservation and passenger information are accurate, prepare the complete travel itinerary and invoice, verify payment status, and coordinate additional travel services such as airport transfers, seat assignments, frequent flyer information, and special meal requests.

This is not primarily a travel sales role. The focus is on accurate post-booking fulfillment, travel coordination, and delivering a seamless experience after the client's flight has been confirmed.

Compensation

$500–$600 USD per month, depending on experience.
Compensation is reviewed based on performance, with clear milestones tied to progression.

What You'll Do

Airline Reservations, PNR & Itinerary Management

Manage confirmed airline reservations and post-booking travel details using information handed over by the Ticketing team
Create or update complete trip records, including flight details, passenger information, seat assignments, meal preferences, and Frequent Flyer Numbers (FFNs)
Review booking and passenger information carefully to ensure it matches the confirmed reservation and issued ticket
Support travel operations involving Sabre GDS, airline reservations, PNR details, itinerary changes, and post-ticketing coordination
Build accurate, client-ready travel itineraries for international business-class and first-class bookings
Coordinate additional travel services such as airport chauffeur transfers, seat selections, and special meal requests
Record all confirmed travel arrangements and updates in the client management system

Invoicing & Payment Verification

Prepare client invoices using FreshBooks based on instructions from your Team Lead
Review invoices for accuracy before submitting them for approval
Verify that payments have been received and correctly recorded before client deliverables are sent
Cross-check payments made through Stripe, bank wire transfers, PayPal, and cryptocurrency using Ascend's internal processes
Identify discrepancies between booking, invoice, and payment records and escalate them immediately to your Team Lead
Maintain accurate billing and payment records across multiple systems

Client Communication

Send approved itineraries and invoices to clients through Periskope
Communicate clearly and professionally with founders, executives, investors, and other premium travelers
Make sure client-facing information is accurate, polished, and consistent with the confirmed booking
Keep travel records updated so the Client Service and Ticketing teams have accurate information at all times

Travel Operations & Quality Control

Ensure passenger names, flight details, PNR information, invoice amounts, payment status, and additional travel arrangements match across systems
Update records in real time whenever a booking changes
Ensure no booking task remains unactioned for more than 30 minutes during your shift
Coordinate with the Ticketing team when a confirmed flight requires changes after ticket issuance
Work with the Client Service team on client-facing travel updates
Escalate payment discrepancies, booking mismatches, or complex travel issues to your Team Lead promptly
