Position Overview

This Sales & Marketing-focused internship within our Odoo ERP Practice is ideal for candidates interested in B2B SaaS / ERP sales, presales, and digital marketing. The program combines structured training with real-world exposure to lead generation, sales pipelines, and marketing campaigns for Odoo ERP solutions.

Participants will undergo 2 to 3 months of intensive training on Odoo ERP, sales processes, and marketing tools, followed by hands-on involvement in live sales and marketing activities.

The training is complimentary, and besides the Internship Certificate, there is a performance-based stipend available, provided for successful contributions to deal closures, with incentives linked to qualified leads that convert into clients.

About This Internship Program

This learning-first internship focuses on:

Understanding the Odoo ERP product and its value proposition
Positioning ERP solutions to SMEs and enterprises
Gaining hands-on exposure to B2B sales and digital marketing funnels
Building confidence in client communication and demos
Learning collaboration within sales, marketing, and delivery teams in an ERP environment

Program Duration

Total Duration: 2–3 months (flexible based on performance and project needs)
Schedule: Full-time or Part-time
Mode: Primarily remote with potential on-site visits for business requirements
Mentorship: Provided by senior sales, presales, and ERP consultants

Key Responsibilities

As a Sales & Marketing Intern – Odoo ERP, responsibilities include:

1. Lead Generation & Prospecting

Research potential clients in target industries and regions
Build and maintain lead lists using LinkedIn, company websites, and other sources
Qualify leads based on a defined Ideal Customer Profile (ICP)
Assist in outreach campaigns (email, LinkedIn, calls as applicable)

2. CRM & Pipeline Management (Odoo CRM)

Manage Odoo CRM to:
- Create and update leads and opportunities
- Track sales pipeline stages
- Log communication and follow-ups
Ensure CRM data accuracy and hygiene
Generate pipeline and conversion reports

3. Sales Support & Presales Coordination

Assist in preparing:
- Sales presentations
- Product brochures and one-pagers
- Proposal templates and basic quotations (under guidance)
Support demo preparation:
- Configure demo databases
- Organize use cases and scenarios with the presales team
Participate in client calls as an observer or junior contributor (when appropriate)

4. Marketing Activities & Campaign Support

Assist in email marketing campaigns:
- Draft campaign content (subject lines, body, CTAs)
- Help with audience segmentation and distribution via tools (Odoo Email Marketing / external)
Contribute to social media and content marketing:
- Ideate and draft basic posts on ERP, Odoo features, and case studies
- Support the design team with content for creatives
Track campaign performance through open rates, click-throughs, responses, and analytics

5. Requirement Understanding & Coordination with BA/Delivery

Understand client pain points and business processes at a high level (Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting, HR, etc.)
Coordinate with BAs/Consultants to document requirements and ensure proposals and demos align with client needs
Learn to position Odoo modules based on customer requirements

6. Reporting & Documentation

Prepare daily/weekly reports on leads, calls, meetings, and campaigns
Maintain structured documentation of prospects and interactions
Record meeting notes and next actions

Understanding B2B sales cycles in ERP/IT services

Performance-Based Stipend / Incentives

This internship offers a performance-based stipend:

No fixed monthly stipend is provided
A performance-based incentive/stipend is earned through successful deal contributions
Incentives may relate to:
- Qualified leads converting to clients
- Deals supported in presales or follow-up activities

Requirements and Qualifications

Essential Qualifications

Currently pursuing or recently completed Bachelor's degree in fields like Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, IT, or related areas
Strong interest in B2B Sales, IT/ERP Sales, or Digital Marketing
Proficiency in written and verbal English (knowledge of other languages is a plus)
Basic understanding of business processes such as Sales, Purchase, and Accounting
High willingness to learn and incorporate feedback

Preferred Qualifications

Prior exposure to CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Zoho, Odoo) and sales/marketing internships
Comfort using LinkedIn for professional networking
Proficiency in MS Office/Google Workspace
Familiarity with Odoo or similar ERP systems is a bonus but not required
