About the Role

We're looking for a UI/UX Designer to help us reimagine the customer experience on elio-tax.com, working closely with product and engineering as we grow the product and the brand.

We care deeply about high-end digital craft: interfaces that feel intentional and refined—confident interactivity, smooth transitions, clear loading and empty states, and motion that supports the story rather than distracting from it. The Graphite homepage https://graphite.com is a good example of the fluid feel we're looking for.

Together with engineering, we also want to invest in workflows that scale how we ship pages: in particular, AI-backed pipelines that produce targeted landing pages built from a block component structure, so marketing and product can move fast without losing consistency. Your role is to define how those blocks behave, look, and fit the brand while partnering on the tooling that generates them.

What You'll Do

Design user flows and interfaces for our website with speed, clarity, and accessibility in mind
Evolve our design system while staying true to brand guidelines (logo, typography, colors, tokens)
Craft premium interactive experiences: purposeful motion, smooth state transitions, scroll-driven moments, and loading patterns that keep the UI understandable and calm under pressure
Shape and improve design–engineering workflows: libraries, tokens, documentation, and handoff patterns that scale
Partner with engineering on block-based landing-page systems
Contribute to complex yet simple admin experiences that work seamlessly across devices

What We're Looking For

3+ years of professional experience specifically in web UI/UX (product or marketing sites)
A strong online portfolio with concrete examples of shipped work (required for consideration)
Deep understanding of UI/UX best practices and a track record of performant, responsive, modern design
A passion for interaction detail: motion, transitions, feedback, and performance—not only static layouts
Comfort partnering with engineers on process, components, and realistic implementation constraints
Creativity and innovation balanced with respect for brand consistency and clarity
Experience with design systems at scale and modern tooling—e.g. Figma (or equivalent) for libraries, variants, and handoff to engineering
Fluent written and spoken English—we collaborate remotely, and day-to-day work with the team is in English
Must be based in India and eligible to work there

How We Hire: AI-Assisted Design Collaboration

Our interview process is designed to be collaborative and practical. We'll work through a live design exercise using the AI-assisted workflow and tools of your choice, whether that means Figma, design-generation tools, prompt-building assistants, voice-to-text, Cursor-backed prototyping, or something else you're comfortable with.

The goal is not to test how quickly you adapt to our exact setup. We want to understand how you think, how you structure ideas and iterations, how you use AI to explore or refine design work, and where we could help strengthen that workflow once we're working together.
