We are currently seeking an experienced English-Spanish translator / interpreter.

Responsibilities:

provide interpretation services to clients in various settings, such as legal proceedings, medical appointments, business meetings, conferences, social events or public service announcements for television or radio
accurately convey messages between parties who don't share a common language, using simultaneous or consecutive interpreting techniques
include relevant tone and inflection to ensure that the delivery represents the intention as closely as possible
clarify terms with multiple meanings or that don't exist between languages by asking questions and consulting relevant resources
facilitate effective communication by clarifying any cultural or linguistic misunderstandings that may arise
coordinate transactions on behalf of clients and maintain the privacy of information
translate written texts as needed, including captions/transcriptions

Requirements:

2+ years of relevant experience.
Fluency in both English and Spanish.
Any other languages a plus.
