Job Description

As a Full Stack Engineer specializing in Shopify app building at Panty Promise, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining applications that integrate seamlessly with the Shopify platform. This role involves creating scalable and efficient solutions that enhance user experience and drive business growth. You will work directly with the founder to ensure our technological projects align perfectly with our business objectives.

Responsibilities

Develop, test, and deploy custom Shopify apps to meet business needs and enhance user experience.
Design and implement robust applications for the Shopify ecosystem using technologies like JavaScript, Ruby on Rails, and Liquid.
Ensure apps are scalable, responsive, and designed to deliver high performance.
Manage the entire app lifecycle from concept to delivery and post-launch support.
Integrate third-party services and APIs into Shopify apps to extend functionality.
Maintain documentation throughout the development process and resolve any app-related issues through effective troubleshooting and updates.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer with a strong portfolio in Shopify app development.
Extensive knowledge of Shopify’s API, app development, and Liquid templating.
Proficiency in both frontend and backend languages such as JavaScript (Node.js, React) and Ruby on Rails.
Experience with database systems such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.
Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to perform in a deadline-driven environment, and capability to work on complex projects.
A strong understanding of web design, UI/UX, and mobile responsiveness.
