About the Position:

We are looking for an experienced and driven Post Processing Lead to oversee our team of Post-Processing Coordinators. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the QA team and post-processing function, ensuring jobs are reviewed and finalized to the highest standard across client jobs made up of photography, floor plans, and 3D tours. You will own team performance, drive quality outcomes, and serve as the primary bridge between the post-processing team and Operations and Client Experience leadership.

This is a hands-on leadership role — you are equally comfortable jumping into Photoshop to resolve an escalated job as you are analyzing quality metrics to identify trends and coach your team toward improvement.

What this role entails:

Team Leadership & Daily Operations

Oversee the day-to-day workflow of a team of 15+ Post-Processing Coordinators, ensuring jobs are distributed, prioritized, and completed within turnaround time targets
- Manage a team who is on 4 different schedules, with days of week and hours worked varying
- Plan holiday schedules and individual coverage to meet business needs
Monitor team capacity and workload balance, making real-time adjustments to meet processing demands
Serve as the first point of escalation for complex or ambiguous quality decisions
Conduct regular 1:1s and team check-ins to maintain alignment, morale, and accountability
Onboard and train new Post-Processing Coordinators on internal tools, standards, and workflows

Quality Oversight & Standards

Ensure all jobs are reviewed and approved in alignment with client-specific guidelines, internal quality standards, and brand consistency expectations
Audit Post-Processing Coordinators output regularly to ensure consistency and accuracy across the team
Lead team calibration sessions to align all specialists on quality benchmarks and decision-making
Maintain and continuously improve internal QA checklists, SOPs, and quality documentation
Create new workflows, and training plans + materials for any new products introduced at the company
- Own the training, rollout, ,and subsequent successful new workflow adoption for your team
Partner with Operations and Client Experience leadership to update standards when client requirements or internal processes evolve

Post processing Execution & Escalations

Serve as a hands-on resource for complex or escalated post processing tasks, including AI virtual staging, object removal, and custom Photoshop work
Review and approve high-stakes or client-sensitive jobs before delivery, when appropriate
Ensure post processing output consistently meets quality, realism, and client expectations across all job types

Metrics, Reporting & Continuous Improvement

Own team quality metrics and KPIs, including error rates, productivity, turnaround times, etc.
Deliver regular performance reports to Operations leadership
Identify recurring quality trends and systemic issues, translating findings into actionable coaching or process improvements
Drive a culture of continuous improvement — proactively recommending workflow, tooling, or training changes that raise team performance
Provide insight and recommendations to internal team on how our photographer network and standards can evolve to improve post-processing and order quality

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Act as the primary liaison between the post-processing team and Operations, Client Experience, and other internal stakeholders
Communicate client feedback and quality issues back to the team in a structured, constructive way
Collaborate with leadership on hiring decisions, performance reviews, and team development initiatives

What we’re looking for:

5+ years of experience in post processing, photo editing, or a related visual quality role
3+ years of experience in a team lead, supervisor, or senior specialist role overseeing others. Experience scaling a team is a plus.
Strong proficiency in most current versions of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Lightroom
Hands-on experience with AI editing tools (e.g. virtual staging, retouching, object removal)
Demonstrated experience reviewing real estate photography, floor plans, or 3D tours is a strong advantage
Proven ability to track, analyze, and report on quality or processing metrics
Experience maintaining documentation, SOPs, or training materials
Strong management presence, able to hold a team accountable and productive while remaining approachable and supportive
Excellent written communication in English, particularly for cross-functional collaboration and client or vendor escalations
Highly organized with the ability to manage competing priorities across a large team
Data-driven mindset, comfortable using metrics to diagnose issues and drive decisions
Proactive problem-solver who identifies gaps and acts on them without waiting to be directed
