Privacy.com is seeking a detail-oriented Risk Analyst to join our growing Risk team. In this role, you will be instrumental in protecting our platform and users from fraud while helping to optimize our risk operations. You'll work across transaction monitoring, identity verification, and fraud analysis, gaining hands-on experience with real-world fintech fraud prevention. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who wants to develop deep expertise in payments risk and fraud strategy.

Job responsibilities:

Review queues including transactions, onboarding applications, identity verifications, and business accounts
Monitor transactions and signups for suspicious activity and emerging fraud patterns
Analyze fraud events and create comprehensive incident reports documenting root causes and recommended preventive measures
Write and test transaction monitoring rules to detect and prevent fraudulent activity
Identify opportunities to improve fraud workflows operationally for the team and customers
Collaborate cross-functionally to streamline the customer experience while balancing risk and reducing friction
Use SQL to analyze fraud trends, identify patterns, and generate insights that inform risk strategy

Qualifications:

0-2 years of relevant experience
Basic SQL proficiency: ability to write SELECT statements, understand table structures, understand joins and aggregation functions, and willingness to learn
Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets
Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset
Excellent written communication skills
Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience or demonstrated analytical skills considered

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in fintech, banking, e-commerce, or customer support
Exposure to a data-driven environment
Familiarity with fraud prevention concepts or payment processing

The annual US salary range for this role is $53,000 - $100,000 plus equity. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Lithic and will be narrowed during the interview process based on the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
