Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Designer with a background in fabrication and construction to

join our team. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years of experience in light gauge or steel

construction and a solid foundation in architectural, structural, and MEPF (Mechanical,

Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection) modeling. Proficiency in Revit and a strong

understanding of the Imperial Measurement System are essential. The BIM Designer will play a

crucial role in generating detailed, accurate models and drawings that adhere to our BIM

department standards.

Key Responsibilities:

● Modeling & Drafting: Create accurate 3D models and detailed drawings for ASMEPF

projects following BIM department standards.

● Collaboration: Coordinate with consultants across various trades and communicate

regularly with the BIM Coordinator or BIM Design Manager to address blockers,

requirements, and opportunities.

● Clash Detection: Perform clash detection and resolution across installations, structural

models, and architectural models.

● Production Support: Review and update models and drawings to meet factory

production needs, ensuring alignment with BIM standards.

● Project Approvals: Assist in generating models and drawing sets for NTA approval and

production support.

● Revision & As-Built Documentation: Update and create As-Built models, drawings,

and details as required, and review outputs generated by the entry level drafters.

● Template & Family Management: Adjust design templates and create custom Revit

families based on project needs.

Qualifications:

● Education: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Mechanical

Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering.

● Experience: 1-3 years of relevant experience in fabrication and/or construction,

preferably within light gauge or steel construction.

● Technical Skills:

○ Intermediate proficiency in Revit; ability to create and manage models and

families.

○ Familiarity with the Imperial Measurement System.

○ Strong knowledge of construction/fabrication terminology in English.

● Language: B2 level or higher in English.
