Role Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented File Clerk to organize, maintain, and retrieve company records in both physical and digital formats. The ideal candidate will support daily operations by ensuring documents are properly stored, secured, and accessible to authorized staff.

Key Responsibilities

Organize, classify, and file documents using established filing systems (alphabetical, numerical, or digital).
Retrieve, deliver, and track files requested by staff and departments.
Scan, upload, and maintain digital records in document management systems.
Perform data entry to update logs, indexes, and record-keeping databases.
Create new folders and files as needed; archive or purge outdated records.
Monitor the accuracy and completeness of files and make corrections when necessary.
Maintain confidentiality and follow company policies related to records handling.
Process incoming and outgoing mail and assist with general administrative tasks.
Support audits and compliance checks by providing necessary documents.

Required Skills & Qualifications

High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office and basic data entry.
Familiarity with filing systems and document management software (preferred).
Strong communication skills and a customer-service approach when handling file requests.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
High school diploma or equivalent required; previous clerical or office experience a plus.
Ability to lift and handle boxes or files as needed.
