Job Description

We are seeking a Senior IAM Integration & API Security Engineer to design and implement identity and access integrations across cloud applications, SaaS platforms, custom applications, and API ecosystems. This role is ideal for a senior engineer who understands IAM not only as tools, but as an integration discipline — connecting identity providers, directories, governance platforms, and authentication layers into a cohesive security architecture.

The ideal candidate has strong experience in Auth0, modern identity standards (OAuth2/OIDC/SAML/SCIM), and cloud-based integration patterns across AWS and Azure.

Professional Responsibilities

Design and build identity integrations using:
- OAuth2, OpenID Connect, SAML 2.0
- SCIM provisioning
- REST APIs and JSON-based authentication flows
Implement and support Auth0 solutions including:
- Tenant configuration
- Applications and connections
- Custom rules/actions
- MFA and adaptive authentication policies
- User lifecycle and identity linking
Integrate IAM platforms with:
- Okta / Ping / Azure AD
- SailPoint / Saviynt
- CyberArk
- Custom applications and microservices
Support API authentication strategies including:
- JWT validation
- Token issuance and refresh logic
- Claims mapping and authorization models
Collaborate with engineering teams to implement secure CIAM/B2B identity patterns.
Perform troubleshooting across authentication flows, API failures, and provisioning issues.
Ensure integrations meet security best practices including:
- Least privilege
- Zero Trust
- Secure token storage and rotation
- Strong logging and monitoring

Required Skills / Experience

6+ years in IAM, security engineering, or API integration roles.
Strong experience with Auth0 and modern identity protocols.
Strong API development/integration skills (REST, JSON, JWT).
Experience with AWS and/or Azure identity and security services.
Programming experience in one or more:
- Java, Node.js, Python, C#, JavaScript
Strong debugging and systems thinking.

Preferred Skills

Experience with API gateways, WAF, and service mesh security
SIEM logging and alerting integrations
Familiarity with DevSecOps practices

Education / Certifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred
Certifications preferred: AWS/Azure, Security+, CISSP
