Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Privileged Access Management (PAM) Engineer to lead the engineering and operational support of privileged identity controls across enterprise infrastructure, cloud platforms, and critical applications. This role is heavily hands-on and requires deep CyberArk expertise as well as strong knowledge of privileged access governance, vaulting, credential rotation, and session monitoring.

The ideal candidate has experience deploying and supporting CyberArk in complex environments and is comfortable integrating PAM into modern DevOps, cloud, and security monitoring workflows.

Professional Responsibilities

Design, deploy, configure, and support CyberArk PAM solutions including:
- Enterprise Password Vault (EPV)
- PVWA
- CPM
- PSM / PSM for SSH
- PTA (if applicable)
Onboard privileged accounts for:
- Windows servers
- Linux/Unix servers
- Databases
- Network devices
- Cloud service accounts
- Application accounts and secrets
Implement credential rotation policies, discovery scans, and safe/account lifecycle management.
Configure session recording, monitoring, and privileged session controls.
Integrate CyberArk with:
- Active Directory / LDAP
- SSO platforms (Okta, Ping)
- ITSM (ServiceNow)
- SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar, Sentinel)
Provide operational support including:
- Incident troubleshooting
- CyberArk upgrades and patching
- Vault backup and DR procedures
Develop automation scripts and onboarding tools to accelerate PAM adoption.
Partner with infrastructure, security, and audit teams to enforce least privilege and privileged governance controls.

Required Skills / Experience

6+ years in security engineering / IAM / PAM roles.
Strong hands-on CyberArk experience (5+ years preferred).
Experience with Windows and Linux administration.
Understanding of privileged access risks and controls.
Scripting: PowerShell, Python, Bash.
Strong troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience with cloud privilege controls:
- AWS IAM, Azure RBAC
- Cloud service principals
- Secrets management integrations
Familiarity with DevOps pipelines and privileged secrets usage
Knowledge of compliance frameworks (SOX, PCI, SOC2, NIST)

Education / Certifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred
CyberArk certifications highly preferred
Security+, CISSP, or equivalent preferred
