The Franchise Development Manager for Southeast Asia is responsible for driving the growth of the Body Fit Training (BFT) franchise network across Malaysia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Indonesia & other emerging markets. Key responsibilities

Sales Operations & Management:

Manage and grow a pipeline of prospective franchisees across Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia.
Conduct discovery calls and meetings to understand candidate motivations, capability and territory preferences.
Present the BFT franchise opportunity clearly and credibly, including business model, brand positioning and support structure.
Qualify candidates against BFT’s financial and non-financial criteria, recommending suitable candidates for approval.
Guide approved candidates through each step of the sales process up to franchise agreement signing, in line with internal policies and legal requirements.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all leads and opportunities in the CRM system.

Reporting & Analysis:

Prepare and present regular sales performance reports to senior leadership, highlighting achievements, challenges, and actionable insights.
Analyse sales data to identify trends, optimise sales processes, and improve conversion rates.
Monitor competitor activity and market trends to maintain a competitive edge.

Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing franchise sales team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Provide regular coaching, training, and performance feedback to team members.

Representation: Represent BFT at International franchise exhibitions and industry events.

Reporting and Forecasting: Develop and maintain detailed sales reports and forecasts.

Travel: Frequent travel where required.

Qualifications:

3–6 years experience in business development or B2B sales, ideally within:
- Franchise, Multi Unit retail. Hospitality or fitness
Demonstrated track record of:
- Managing a sales pipeline end to end
- Converting qualified leads into signed agreements or contracts
Experience using CRM systems (HubSpot preferable)
Strong commercial understanding, with the ability to explain business models, unit economics and ROI in clear, practical terms.

Language:

Fluent English (written and spoken)
Bahasa Malaysia and/or Bahasa Indonesia highly regarded

Comfortable working across different cultures and business environments in Southeast Asia.
Based in, or willing to relocate to, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, with the ability to travel regularly within the region
