  • Role: Technical Project Manager (Platform Experience, Accounting Domain)

  • Years of Experience: 10+ years

  • Location: 100% Remote (San Ramon, CA Looking for candidate from PST hours)

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the end-to-end project lifecycle from initiation to delivery, ensuring timely and high-quality execution.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, product managers, business analysts, and stakeholders.

  • Define project scope, objectives, timelines, budgets, and key deliverables.

  • Lead Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.

  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure seamless delivery.

  • Drive technical discussions and bridge communication gaps between technical teams and business stakeholders.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices in financial technology projects.

  • Maintain project documentation, reports, and dashboards for leadership visibility.

  • Coordinate third-party vendors, partners, and technology providers when required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Educational Background:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.

  • Project Management Experience:

  • 6+ years of experience in technical project management, preferably within the finance or FinTech sector.

  • Technical Proficiency:

  • Familiarity with APIs, cloud technologies, software development methodologies, and system architectures in financial applications.

  • Methodologies:

  • Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and SDLC methodologies.

  • Tools & Technologies:

  • Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

  • Regulatory Knowledge:

  • Understanding of financial regulations such as PCI-DSS, GDPR, PSD2, or Open Banking frameworks is a plus.

  • Communication Skills:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Problem-Solving:

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to anticipate challenges and drive proactive solutions.
