About the Role

We are looking for a highly reliable, detail-oriented Right Hand / Operations Assistant to support the founder of Velur in all daily business operations. This role is ideal for someone who thinks independently, solves problems before they escalate, and takes full ownership of tasks without needing constant supervision.

You will work directly with the founder and handle a wide range of responsibilities across operations, product management, admin, suppliers, e-commerce, and organization. We move fast, have high standards, and expect the same from you.

This is not a basic assistant role. This is a long-term, high-trust position for someone who wants to grow inside a modern digital luxury brand.

Responsibilities

Operations & Admin

Manage daily workflows, follow-ups, and ensure tasks are completed on time
Organize files, documents, product information, and internal systems
Prepare summaries, update spreadsheets, track inventory, and support planning

E-Commerce Support

Upload and maintain products in WooCommerce (titles, descriptions, specs, options)
Support with price changes, product data, collections, categories, tags
Check site quality, fix small issues, and ensure listings are correct and consistent

Supplier Coordination

Communicate with suppliers in Asia & Europe (English required)
Follow up on orders, production timelines, CAD updates, and quality checks
Manage custom orders and ensure all specifications are correct

Content & Customer Support (Light)

Prepare content briefs and organize assets (photos, CADs, videos)
Assist with simple customer-related tasks (no full CS role)
Support with basic copy updates, product details, FAQs, or templates

General Executive Assistance

Anticipate needs and remove friction from the founder’s workflow
Keep calendars, reminders, and priorities clean and organized
Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism

What We Expect

Extremely reliable and proactive — you don’t wait for instructions
Highly organized with strong attention to detail (no sloppy work)
Know how to work with AI (Important)
Fast learner with good problem-solving skills
Strong written and spoken English
Experience in e-commerce, operations, or assisting founders/executives
Ability to manage several tasks at once without losing clarity
Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
Tech-savvy (Google Workspace, Notion, Excel, WooCommerce is a plus)

Nice to Have

Experience with fashion, luxury, or custom products (experience with diamond rings would be great)
WooCommerce knowledge
Understanding of simple photo editing or AI tools (optional)
Experience with suppliers in China
German language is a plus, but not required
