Float is built on autonomous work. Our remote async culture allows team members to plan their days in the best way for them. There are minimal meetings and lots of time for deep work. While we use Slack, we do not expect everyone to be present as timezones differ for each of us. This way of working is deeply embedded in the culture at Float.

We have a 'same work, same pay' policy, regardless of location. We provide transparency with our pay and use a cost of living average of 95% regardless of where a team member lives. We always advertise pay with out open roles.

We also provide perks and benefits that support a more inclusive and equitable workplace such as allowing team members to purchase equipment that they need to set up a remote workspace.
