Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain the root systems of our platform—designing scalable, efficient backend services in Go and Rust
Collaborate closely with our founders and product team to architect solutions that allow customers to harvest insights from massive volumes of telemetry data
Help us grow and care for our OpenTelemetry-native architecture, building tools that are composable, resilient, and vendor-neutral
Contribute to open-source projects, especially those in the OpenTelemetry ecosystem, planting seeds of value for the community

Requirements

Strong experience with Go and/or Rust, with a focus on systems programming, distributed systems, or backend infrastructure
Familiarity with telemetry systems, streaming data, or observability pipelines
Comfort working with protocols like OTLP, gRPC, HTTP, and message queues (NATS, Kafka, etc)
An interest in resource efficiency: you care about runtime performance, memory footprint, and reducing carbon costs
A collaborative, open mindset and willingness to dig deep into complex problems
Rooted in either Latin America or Europe

Bonus Points

Familiarity with observability data formats, distributed systems, and the OpenTelemetry ecosystem
Experience with B2B SaaS products, especially developer tools
Passion for open-source communities, contributing to shared knowledge and collaborative growth
Enthusiasm for public speaking, helping others cultivate their understanding of observability at international conferences
