We're Hiring: Product Manager

We’re looking for a talented, full-time Product Manager to own our initiatives focused on user and subscription activation at Raptor Maps. Areas of responsibility include customer onboarding, user activation, self service ordering, access control management and data integrations. The ideal candidate is a user-focused technologist who excels in leadership and data analysis, and is comfortable working with cross-functional stakeholders including designers, engineers, and customers.

What You Will Do

  • Lead product discovery, development and go to market efforts for your areas of focus. This involves continuous discovery, development, go-to-market strategy, and iteration.

  • Develop and maintain a clear product strategy and roadmap aligned with the overall company objectives and the specific needs of your area of focus.

  • Work closely with product leadership on multi-squad problem spaces, taking ownership of any support needed from your squads.

  • Become the expert on your squad's products/features, their functionality, and their importance to the company's and customers' success. Understand how they add, and draw, value by interoperating with other product areas.

  • Understand our customers’ onboarding, activation and access control experiences through high-empathy discovery, and identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Communicate and collaborate frequently with other Raptor Maps teams across all phases of the development cycle.

  • Develop a deep understanding of the solar industry as well as best practices in activation and onboarding, working closely with our designers to craft optimum user experiences.

  • Generate and maintain documentation in support of the squad's products.

What You Will Bring

  • 3+ years of experience in the software product development process. This experience could be as a product manager, data scientist, designer, or engineer.

  • Strong technical acumen and experience working with data integrations, subscription frameworks or role based access control frameworks.

  • Understanding of product led growth fundamentals.

  • Demonstrated ability to make decisions informed by qualitative and quantitative data.

  • Discovery mindset and natural inclination towards de-risking decisions through experimentation, prototyping, feedback and right-sizing.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills, coupled with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams, including technical, design, and business stakeholders.

  • Strong understanding of software-as-a-service(SaaS) product design and business principles.

  • Ability to learn and communicate effectively with customers and cross-functional teams.

  • 2+ years managing a customer-facing API and / or developer ecosystem.

  • Data science or analysis expertise.

  • Startup experience highly desirable.

  • Understanding of utility-scale or commercial and industrial solar technology or finance.

  • High EQ, a collaborative spirit, and strong alignment with Raptor Maps' core values.

  • Must be primarily located in the contiguous US and authorized to work in the US.
