Are you passionate about bridging the gap between technology and business challenges? Summit is seeking a Solutions Engineer Intern to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and present innovative solutions that address client needs. This internship offers hands-on experience in solution engineering, customer interaction, and SaaS technologies.

What You’ll Do:

Assist in designing and implementing technical solutions that align with client requirements
Collaborate with Sales and Engineering teams to understand business needs and support solution development
Participate in client meetings to gather technical requirements and provide input on possible solutions
Help create and maintain technical documentation, including solution designs, proposals, and user guides
Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues during implementation and post-deployment
Support demo environments or proof-of-concepts that showcase our capabilities
Contribute to internal tools and templates to enhance our pre-sales process
Stay current on industry trends, cloud technologies, and enterprise IT best practices
Learn how to communicate technical ideas clearly in both written and verbal formats

What We’re Looking For:

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
Strong interest in cloud, enterprise tech, and client-facing problem solving
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Solid problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Eagerness to learn, adapt quickly, and take initiative

Preferred Skills:

Basic understanding of SaaS platforms and cloud computing (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, HTML, or CSS
Exposure to version control systems like Git
Experience with APIs, integrations, or web services
Understanding of Agile methodologies or experience on Agile teams
Previous internship, co-op, or project-based experience related to solutions engineering or technical consulting

Internship Details:

Commitment: 15-20 hours per week during the academic year, with the option to increase to full-time during summer.
Duration: 6-9 months, flexible based on availability.
Compensation: $19 - $24 per hour
