Position Overview

Synergy Injury Relief PLLC is seeking an experienced Procedure Scheduler to join our growing team. This position plays a critical role in coordinating patient procedures, obtaining authorizations, communicating with providers and patients, and ensuring all scheduling is completed accurately and efficiently.

The ideal candidate must be fluent in both English and Spanish and have previous experience scheduling procedures performed under anesthesia.

Required Qualifications

Fluent in English and Spanish (verbal and written)
Minimum 2 years of medical scheduling experience
Previous experience scheduling procedures performed under anesthesia (required)
Knowledge of surgical scheduling workflows
Strong understanding of medical terminology
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Experience working with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR systems)

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in Pain Management, Orthopedics, Surgery, or Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASC)
Knowledge of Letters of Protection (LOP) and Personal Injury cases
Experience obtaining procedure approvals and coordinating pre-operative requirements

Job Responsibilities

Schedule interventional pain management and surgical procedures
Coordinate procedure dates with physicians, facilities, and anesthesia providers
Verify all required documentation is received prior to scheduling
Communicate procedure instructions to patients
Confirm appointments and procedure details with patients and attorneys as needed
Track pending approvals and follow up on outstanding items
Maintain accurate scheduling records and documentation
Coordinate procedure follow-up appointments
Ensure all scheduling is completed in accordance with company protocols
