We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Patient Care Coordinator to join our team. This role serves as the main point of contact for patients, ensuring their treatment runs smoothly from start to finish. The Patient Care Coordinator will also communicate with attorneys and medical providers to support the patient’s care plan and the legal process tied to their injury case.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary liaison for assigned patients throughout their treatment journey.
Coordinate patient appointments, imaging, orders, referrals, and follow-up visits.
Maintain clear communication with patients, ensuring they understand their treatment plan and next steps.
Provide regular updates to attorneys’ offices regarding patient progress, medical records, and documentation under LOP.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of medical records and treatment documentation.
Collaborate with billing staff to ensure proper handling of LOP accounts.
Track patient progress and promptly address scheduling or communication issues.

Requirements

Prior experience in patient coordination, case management, or medical office administration (personal injury/LOP experience preferred).
Strong understanding of medical-legal processes and documentation requirements.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an empathetic approach to patient care.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and dependable.
