Your Role:
The Manager, Channel Sales for Tenable is responsible for driving and managing Tenable’s business with top national partners. The Manager, Channel Sales will act as a liaison between partners and Tenable sales personnel. This individual will support sales endeavors across all of Tenable’s products.
Your Opportunity:
Define the strategy and execution for a Tenable top National Partners
Serve as the partner main point of contact as it relates to activity centric to partners
Drive relationships cross functionally at all levels of partnership- sales, technical, services, partner management
In conjunction with the marketing team, develop and assist with the execution of marketing programs, campaigns and initiatives
Lead and manage a team of channel manager(s) and funded partner reps
Create and deliver accurate quarterly and annual forecasts and strategic plans
Drive the execution of our business to achieve annual quota
Drive engagement between Tenable’s and partners’ sales and technical teams
May perform other duties and responsibilities that management may deem necessary from time to time
What You'll Need:
A minimum of 5+ years of experience working in security technology sales
A minimum of 8+ years of experience managing channel partners in relation to technology sales
Experience in working with/for CDW
Experience managing a team of channel managers, funded team members
Documented track record of success
Experience in solution selling Saas solutions
Domestic travel is a requirement of this position
Experience working with one and two tier channel models
Experience and comfort level working with C-level executives
Familiarity with the software security industry strongly preferred
And Ideally:
College Degree strongly preferred
