About the Role

We are creating a robust travel booking platform focused on cruises, dynamic packaging, and API-driven inventory. This is a crucial role, where you will take ownership of our mission-critical API ecosystem, a custom WordPress platform at scale, along with the architecture, automation, and stability of our entire tech stack.

Responsibilities

Design and maintain a scalable WordPress platform (custom themes, plugins, multisite).
Oversee backend architecture (PHP, Node.js).
Build high-performance frontend components (React/Next.js).
Lead API integrations with travel suppliers, REST/GraphQL.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues.
Implement CI/CD pipelines and automation processes.
Improve performance, uptime, and security.
Create internal tools for business teams.

Requirements

Extensive experience in full-stack development.
Proven track record in WordPress custom development.
Strong skills in PHP and JavaScript.
Experience with API-focused platforms.
DevOps/CI/CD knowledge.
Handling high-volume systems.

Desirable

Background in travel or booking systems.
Experience with Stripe/payments.
CRM integration knowledge.
Experience in modernizing legacy systems.
