No middlemen
When your company partners with Remote, you will be employed by one of Remote’s local entities in the country where you work. This arrangement gives us greater flexibility and the expertise to provide truly localized support.
Remote acts as an employer of record for companies that hire international employees. An EOR assumes the responsibility for local legal requirements so the client company can employ workers in that location.
Security as standard
We take the protection of personal information very seriously. Remote meets and exceeds the highest international data and financial security standards, so you can be at ease.
Your employment contract will be with the local entity of Remote in the country where you are based. For example, if you are employed in Singapore, your employment contract will be with our legal entity Remote Tech Singapore Pte. Ltd. Remote employs you locally as the employer of record on behalf of the company you work for. All the business operations and day-to-day aspects of your work are handled by the company you work for. To enable this, Remote assumes all responsibilities, obligations and tasks related to your employment.
Where possible, we use local banks to transfer your salary via methods such as domestic wire transfers, ACH, or SEPA. If local bank transfers are not available in your country and local currency, you will receive your salary via international wire transfer (SWIFT).
You will receive your salary in the local currency specified in your employment contract.
Bank transfers for salaries are made on the 25th of each month — you will receive your salary on or before the last working day of that month.
As the Employer of Record, Remote is your local legal employer, and all salary payments will be made by us. The operations and day-to-day aspects of your work are still handled by the company you work for.
Yes — Remote’s local entity contributes to and enrolls you in local social security programs and fulfils other statutory requirements.
