Get to know the Remote platform

Your Company’s Onboarding Journey

Register your company at employ.remote.com/sign-up

Follow the simple steps to create your company's account in the Remote platform and choose your plan. You have the option to purchase a pay-as-you-go (month-to-month) plan or a TEAM plan, which allows you to purchase seats in bulk for a discount. During the sign-up process, you'll also be asked to agree to the Remote Terms of Service.

Add your hires to the platform

Once you've registered your company, sign into the Remote platform and go to the "onboarding" tab to add your new employee(s) or contractor(s). You'll be asked to provide information like their country, personal email, job title, start date, salary, and more.

We send the employment agreement to your new team member

Our team encourages your employee to begin the registration process on Remote, if they haven't already. The employee will be assigned a region-specific HR onboarding specialist who will send them the employment contract and guide them through the entire process.

First invoice uploaded

Shortly after your first employee(s) complete their onboarding process, we'll upload your first invoice directly into Remote, under the billing section. Your invoice will have a summary of the costs and cost breakdown, per country and employee.

Your employee sets up their Remote profile

After you add your employee to Remote, our automated onboarding process guides them through completing their profile.

We confirm your employee's identity and documentation

Our team verifies your employee’s identity and checks all relevant documentation.

Our team connects directly with your employee

The HR onboarding specialist assigned to your employee reaches out to answer any questions they may have and ensure a positive transition.

We send the employment agreement to your new team member

We use the information both you and the hire provided during the onboarding process to create documents and contracts that meet local labor laws and requirements where the employee works.

Your employee signs the contract

If your employee has no questions, this step only takes a few minutes. If your employee needs to make changes or has other concerns, Remote’s team of experts steps in to ensure the process goes smoothly. Once the contract is signed, your employee can legally begin working on the start date outlined in their contract.

Your employee is enrolled in a benefits package, if applicable

We enroll your employee in the applicable benefits package, if one is offered.

Your employee gets paid

Once you've reviewed and approved the invoice, we'll upload your employee's payslip to Remote and ensure the payment is sent to their bank account on time.
