The Remote platform will walk you through the steps to verify your identity and sign your contract.
You will report directly to your employer for day-to-day work as usual.

No middlemen
When your employer works with Remote, you will be employed by one of Remote’s local entities in the country where you are based. This arrangement gives us greater flexibility and expertise to provide truly localised support.
Remote acts as an employer of record for companies hiring international employees. An EOR assumes responsibility for local legal requirements so the client company can employ workers in that jurisdiction.
Security as standard
We treat the protection of personal information with the utmost seriousness. Remote exceeds leading international standards for data and financial security, allowing you to have peace of mind.
Your employment contract will be with Remote’s local legal entity in the country where you are based. For example, if you are employed in Singapore, your contract will be with our legal entity Remote Tech Singapore Pte. Ltd. Remote employs you locally as the employer of record on behalf of the company you work for. The business operations and day-to-day aspects of your role are handled by the company you work for. To enable this, Remote assumes all responsibilities, obligations and tasks associated with your employment.
Where possible, we use local banks to transfer your salary using methods such as domestic wire transfers, ACH or SEPA. If local bank transfers in your country and local currency are not available, your salary will be sent via international wire transfer (SWIFT).
Your salary will be paid in the local currency specified in your employment contract.
Salary bank transfers are processed on 25 of every month – you will receive your salary on or before the final working day of that month.
As the Employer of Record, Remote is your local legal employer and will make salary payments. The company you work for continues to manage the operational and day-to-day matters of your role.
Yes — Remote’s local entity contributes to and enrols you in local social security programmes as well as fulfils other statutory requirements.
The benefits you receive depend on the choices made by your employer. These may include private health insurance, bonuses and commissions, or other customised perks.
Remote provides guidance on laws that may affect your ability to work in particular countries and on available employment options. Remote can sponsor work visas in some locations. Your employer can obtain further information and begin the process through our support team.
