In the US, payroll processing typically covers the calculation and distribution of pay. Outside the US, the act of paying (or 'disbursing' salaries and remitting payments to authorities) is often not included in conventional payroll services.

Yes. In certain countries, Remote can automatically remit payments to your employees and to tax authorities using standard bank transfer methods.
After you complete our thorough and secure payments onboarding process, you can fund your virtual payroll wallet via bank transfer. Once you approve the monthly payroll, we will securely send payments to your employees and tax authorities in local currencies. You will have full visibility into the status of each payment.
For all countries, you may also download a 'bank file' that can be uploaded to your banking software for easy scheduling of salary, benefit and tax payments, should you prefer not to use our integrated payment network.

Certain countries prohibit third parties from making payments to employees or authorities on an employer's behalf. In such cases, we will prepare a bank file containing the required payment information, ready for you to upload into your banking software.
