No middlemen
When your company engages Remote, you will be employed by one of Remote’s local entities in the country where you are based. This structure gives us greater flexibility and the expertise to provide genuinely localised support.
Remote serves as an Employer of Record for companies that hire internationally. An EOR assumes responsibility for local legal obligations so the client company can legally employ workers there.
Security as standard
We treat personal data protection with the utmost seriousness. Remote meets and exceeds the highest international standards for data and financial security, giving you peace of mind.
Your employment contract will be with Remote’s local legal entity in the country where you are based. For example, if you are employed in Singapore, your contract will be with Remote Tech Singapore Pte. Ltd. Remote employs you locally as the Employer of Record on behalf of the company you work for. The business operations and day-to-day management of your role remain with the company you work for. To enable this, Remote takes on the responsibilities, obligations and tasks related to your employment.
Where available, we pay salaries via local banks using methods such as domestic wire transfers, ACH or SEPA. If local bank transfers are not possible in your country or currency, you will receive your salary by international wire transfer (SWIFT).
Your salary will be paid in the local currency specified in your employment contract.
Salary bank transfers are processed on the 25th of each month; you will receive your payment on or before the last working day of the month.
As the Employer of Record, Remote is your local legal employer and issues your salary payments. Your employer continues to manage your daily work and operations.
Yes — Remote’s local entity registers you and contributes to local social security programmes as well as other statutory requirements.
Your benefits depend on the selections made by your employer. These may include private health insurance, bonuses and commissions, or other bespoke perks.
Remote can advise on laws that affect your ability to work in certain countries and on the employment options available. In some jurisdictions, Remote can sponsor work visas. Your employer can contact our support team to learn more and initiate the process.
