No middlemen
When your employer partners with Remote, you'll be employed by one of Remote’s local entities in the countries where we operate. That lets us provide more flexibility and localised expertise.
Remote acts as an employer of record for companies hiring internationally. An EOR assumes responsibility for local legal requirements so the client company can employ people in that jurisdiction.
Security as standard
We take protecting personal information seriously. Remote goes beyond the top international standards for data and financial security, giving you peace of mind.
Your employment contract will be with Remote’s local legal entity in the country where you are based. For instance, if you work in Singapore, your contract will be with our legal entity Remote Tech Singapore Pte. Ltd. As the employer of record, Remote employs you locally on behalf of the company you work for. The client company remains responsible for your business operations and daily work. To enable this arrangement, Remote assumes the responsibilities, obligations and administrative tasks associated with your employment.
Where possible, we use local banks to pay your salary using domestic transfers such as ACH or SEPA. If local bank transfers aren’t available for your country or currency, you’ll receive your salary by international wire transfer (SWIFT).
You will be paid in the local currency specified in your employment contract.
Salaries are transferred on the 25th of each month — you should receive payment on or before the last working day of that month.
As the Employer of Record, Remote is your local legal employer and will make all salary payments. Your day-to-day work and operations are still managed by the company you work for.
Yes — Remote’s local entity contributes to and enrols you in local social security programmes and other statutory schemes.
The benefits you receive depend on what your employer chooses. This could include private health insurance, bonuses or commissions, or other customised perks.
