We only collect reserve payments in uncommon, high-risk situations. These reserves act as financial security so we can pay employees if a customer is unable to. Other EOR providers charge extra deposits for offering annual leave beyond the legal minimum, removing probation periods, incentive plans and monthly redundancy pay accruals. We don’t.
Employees are paid in the currency specified in their employment contract. When a salary (or any other item on your invoice) differs from your chosen billing currency, we convert it using the Remote FX rate.
The Remote FX rate can fluctuate by currency pair and over time. The rate factors in the risks of holding assets and liabilities in different currencies, Remote’s operational costs, and industry benchmarks. The Remote FX rate is highly competitive compared to other EOR and payroll providers.
Your invoice will display charges in your chosen billing currency. The Remote FX rate applied to each line item appears in the invoice breakdown on our platform each month.
You can add and invite any number of direct, EOR employees and contractors in Remote, with no minimum requirements or fees. To process payroll for your direct employees, you must use our Global Payroll product. From your first hire to employee number 1,000, we’re here to support your growth.
We don’t charge platform, onboarding, or setup fees for our HR management, EOR, and Contractor Management products. You only pay for the product(s) you select, as required. For customers using our Payroll product, there is an implementation fee to set up your entities. In addition, a recurring payroll delivery fee applies, covering the infrastructure needed for prompt global payouts and secure payroll file delivery.
