With Remote as your COR, we assume the classification risk* and the administrative burden, so your team does not need to become experts in local contractor law.
An Employer of Record (EOR) is for workers who should legally be employees. Remote hires them on your behalf, providing payroll, benefits, and full employment protections. A Contractor of Record applies to genuine independent contractor engagements. Remote becomes the legal engager of the contractor, not their employer, so there is no payroll or benefits, just compliant engagement, payments, and protection against misclassification.
Contractor of Record starts at NZ$536 per contractor per month, which includes direct engagement, background checks, and uncapped indemnity against misclassification*. A 15% of invoice rate is also available depending on your setup.
