This is our fourth annual remote influencer report — the definitive guide to the leading and most inspiring thought leaders in remote work. The report includes:
Each year we publish an updated report showcasing the top 150 remote influencers. Whether you’re new to remote work, simply curious, or a long-time remote worker, this guide points you to today’s most influential voices in the remote world. To make it practical, we include resources these leaders helped create, links to their social profiles, and icons that show whether they are speakers or published authors. We hope it sparks ideas, reveals opportunities, and keeps you curious!
The report highlights outstanding leaders who offer genuinely transformative perspectives for anyone seeking the best in remote work leadership. We divide the report into three types of influencers: Remote Innovators, Enablers, and Accelerators.
These influencers help keep remote work thriving and are worth following if you want to build a more connected future for remote working.

At the heart of this report are people committed to reshaping the workplace. We examined how they have driven the shift towards more flexible working and how they continue to lead that change. Some have built companies that supply essential tools or training for effective remote working. Others devote their energy to advocating a remote-first world across every available channel.
Everyone included in our report is passionate about remote work. They’re laying the groundwork to inspire and support others, continually learning and sharing ways to embrace remote working along with tools that empower teams and individuals.

Each year we begin by reviewing earlier remote influencer reports to identify which previously named influencers still have a major impact on the remote work landscape. We also assess nominations of remote work advocates gathered from our global community throughout the year.
From that pool we create a longlist of 225 influencers, using the following criteria to decide whether a person qualifies:
To finalise the list, our expert panel of judges reviews nominees in their category (innovators, enablers, or accelerators) and votes based on their experience and knowledge. That process produces the top 150 individuals leading the remote work movement, with 50 in each category.
