In the US, payroll processing typically covers the calculation and distribution of payments. Outside the US, however, paying (or 'disbursing' salaries and payments to authorities) is commonly not part of the standard payroll service.

Yes. In some countries, Remote can automatically pay your employees and tax authorities using standard bank payment methods.
Once you've completed our secure payments onboarding, you can fund your virtual payroll wallet via bank transfer. After you approve the monthly payroll, we'll securely send payments to your employees and tax authorities in local currencies. You will have complete visibility into the status of each payment.
Across all countries, you can also download a 'bank file' for upload into your banking software to schedule salary, benefit and tax payments, should you prefer not to use our integrated payment network.

In some countries, third parties are not permitted to make payments to employees or authorities on an employer's behalf. Where this occurs, we will prepare a bank file containing the required payment information for you to upload into your banking software.
