In the US, payroll processing traditionally includes calculating and distributing payments. Outside the US, however, the actual payment—disbursing salaries and remitting payments to authorities—is often not part of a standard payroll service.
We provide an integrated solution combining payroll processing with payments, which streamlines operations and helps maintain compliance and accuracy for each transaction.
Yes, in certain countries, Remote can automatically pay your employees and tax authorities through standard bank payment methods.
After you complete our secure payments onboarding, you can fund a virtual payroll wallet by bank transfer. Once you approve the monthly payroll, we will securely transfer payments to employees and tax authorities in local currencies. You will have full visibility of each payment’s status.
For any country, you may instead download a 'bank file' to upload into your banking software for scheduling salary, benefit and tax payments if you choose not to use our integrated payment network.

In some countries, third parties are not permitted to make payments to employees or authorities on an employer’s behalf. In those cases, we will collaborate with you to produce a bank file containing all required payment details, ready for upload into your banking software.
