Getting started
Your company's onboarding journey
Complete the straightforward steps to set up your company's account on the Remote platform and select a plan. You may choose a pay-as-you-go (month-to-month) option or the TEAM plan, which offers bulk seat purchases at a discounted rate. As part of sign-up, you will be required to accept the Remote Terms of Service.
After registering your company, sign in to the Remote platform and open the "onboarding" tab to add new employee(s) or contractor(s). You'll be prompted for details such as country, personal email, job title, start date, salary and other relevant information.
If the employee has not yet registered on Remote, our team will encourage them to start. They will be assigned an HR onboarding specialist for their region, who will issue the employment contract and guide them through every step.
Soon after your first employee(s) finish onboarding, we will upload your initial invoice into Remote's billing section. The invoice will include a cost summary and a per-country, per-employee breakdown.
With them every step
Your employee’s onboarding journey
Once you add an employee to Remote, the automated onboarding workflow guides them to complete their profile.
Our team validates the employee’s identity and reviews all pertinent documentation.
The HR onboarding specialist assigned to the employee contacts them to answer questions and facilitate a smooth transition.
Using the information you and the hire supplied during onboarding, we prepare documents and contracts that comply with the local labour laws and requirements applicable where the employee works.
If offered, we will enrol your employee in the appropriate benefits package.
If there are no questions, signing takes only a few minutes. Should your employee request amendments or raise concerns, Remote’s experts will assist to ensure a smooth process. Once the contract is signed, the employee may legally begin work on the start date specified in the contract.
After you review and approve the invoice, we will upload the employee’s payslip to Remote and ensure payment is processed to their bank account on time.
