The European Union has invoked the Temporary Protection Directive to extend protection to Ukrainian nationals. Twenty-seven EU member states agreed to grant Ukrainian citizens residence permits for one year, with an automatic extension for a further year. This directive allows Ukrainians to decide where they wish to live, work and belong.

When you onboard an employee, you’ll be asked to confirm your eligibility by providing documentation proving the employees’ refugee status and proper right to work or work permit(s) in their host country.
The 15% discount is valid on annual credit billing only and expires 12 months after acceptance of our terms of service.
This discount is valid for any company that uses Remote to hire refugee talent. The Remote for Refugees promotion will remain open until 31 December 2026 for companies and employees that qualify; at that time, Remote reserves the right to end, change, or extend this promotion with the same or new terms.
The 15% discount is valid for all employees hired by an eligible company via Remote’s EOR service for a period of 12 months from acceptance of our terms of service.
Provided the refugee holds the legal right-to-work (for example, a valid work permit), we can employ them in any country where we maintain an entity.
