The Remote platform will walk you through identity verification and signing your contract.
You will report directly to your new employer for day-to-day matters as normal.
Remote will pay the salary set out in your contract, and you will be enrolled to receive any agreed benefits.

No middlemen
If your employer partners with Remote, you will be employed by one of Remote’s local entities in the country concerned. That gives us the local expertise and flexibility to provide genuinely localised support.
Remote acts as an Employer of Record (EOR) for firms hiring internationally. An EOR assumes local legal responsibilities so the client company can employ staff in that location.
Security as standard
We take the protection of personal information seriously. Remote meets and exceeds leading international standards for data and financial security, so you can have peace of mind.
Your employment contract will be with Remote’s local legal entity in the country where you are based. For example, if you are employed in Singapore, your contract will be with our legal entity Remote Tech Singapore Pte. Ltd. Remote employs you locally as the Employer of Record on behalf of the company you work for. The business operations and your day-to-day tasks are still managed by the company you work for. To enable this, Remote takes on the responsibilities, obligations and tasks connected with your employment.
Where possible we use local banks to transfer your salary by methods such as domestic wire transfers, ACH or SEPA. If local bank transfers are not available in your country or currency, your salary will be paid via international wire transfer (SWIFT).
Your salary will be paid in the local currency stated in your employment contract.
Salary bank transfers are processed on the 25th day of each month – you will receive your pay on or before the final working day of that month.
As the Employer of Record, Remote is your local legal employer and will make salary payments. Your employer remains responsible for the operations and day-to-day aspects of your work.
Yes – Remote’s local entity contributes to and enrols you in local social security programmes and fulfils other statutory requirements.
The benefits you receive depend on the choices made by your employer. These may include private health insurance, bonuses and commissions, or other bespoke perks.
Remote provides guidance on laws that might affect your right to work in particular countries and sets out what employment options are available. Remote can sponsor work visas in some locations. Your employer can learn more and initiate the process through our support team.
