No middlemen
When your employer engages Remote, you will be employed by one of Remote’s local entities in the country where you are based. This provides greater flexibility and local expertise so we can deliver truly localised support.
Remote serves as an employer of record for companies hiring internationally. An EOR assumes responsibility for local legal obligations so the client company can legally employ workers in that jurisdiction.
Security as standard
We treat personal data protection with utmost seriousness. Remote exceeds leading international standards for data and financial security, so you can be confident.
Your employment contract will be with the local Remote entity where you are based. For example, if you are employed in Singapore, your contract will be with our legal entity Remote Tech Singapore Pte. Ltd. Remote employs you locally as the employer of record on behalf of the company you work for. All business operations and the day-to-day management of your role remain with the company you work for. To enable this, Remote accepts the responsibilities, obligations and tasks associated with your employment.
Where possible, we transfer salary using local banks via domestic wire transfers, ACH or SEPA. If local bank transfers are not available for your country and currency, you will receive salary by international wire transfer (SWIFT).
Your salary will be paid in the local currency specified in your employment contract.
Salary bank transfers are processed on the 25th of each month — you should receive payment on or before the last working day of that month.
As the Employer of Record, Remote is your local legal employer and will make all salary payments. The company you work for continues to manage operations and the day-to-day aspects of your role.
Yes — Remote’s local entity contributes to and enrols you in local social security schemes and fulfils other statutory requirements.
The benefits you receive depend on your employer’s choices. These may include private health insurance, bonuses and commissions, or other bespoke perks.
Remote can advise on laws that may affect your right to work in certain countries and outline available employment options. Remote can sponsor work visas in some locations. Your employer can contact our support team to learn more and start the process.
