No middlemen
When your employer works with Remote, you’re employed by one of Remote’s local entities in the country where you’re based. That gives us more flexibility and expertise to provide truly localised support.
Remote acts as an Employer of Record (EOR) for companies hiring international employees. An EOR takes on the burden of local legal requirements so the client company can employ workers in that area.
Security as standard
We treat personal data protection seriously. Remote surpasses the top international standards for data and financial security, so you can be confident.
Your employment contract will be with Remote’s local legal entity in the country where you’re located. For example, employees in Singapore have contracts with Remote Tech Singapore Pte. Ltd. Remote is your local employer of record acting on behalf of the company you work for. The hiring company continues to manage your business operations and daily tasks. Remote assumes the responsibilities, obligations and administrative duties associated with your employment.
Whenever possible, we use local banks and methods such as domestic wire transfers, ACH or SEPA. If local transfers aren’t available in your country or currency, we’ll send your salary via international wire transfer (SWIFT).
You’ll receive your salary in the local currency specified in your employment contract.
Salaries are transferred on the 25th of each month; you’ll receive your pay on or before the last working day of the month.
As the Employer of Record, Remote is your legal local employer and will make salary payments. The hiring company continues to manage your day-to-day operations.
Yes — Remote’s local entity enrolls you in and contributes to local social security schemes and fulfils other statutory obligations.
