We only collect reserve payments in rare, high-risk situations. This financial safeguard lets us pay employees if a customer cannot meet their obligations. Some EOR providers demand extra deposits for offering annual leave above the statutory minimum, removing probation periods, incentive plans and monthly redundancy pay accruals. We don't.
Employees are paid in the currency stated in their employment agreement. If the salary (or any other items on your invoice) differs from your chosen billing currency, we convert the amount using the Remote FX rate.
The Remote FX rate can fluctuate by currency pair and over time. It reflects the risks of holding assets and liabilities in multiple currencies, the costs Remote incurs, and industry benchmarks. The Remote FX rate compares very favourably with rates from other EOR and payroll providers.
Your invoice will display charges in your selected billing currency. The Remote FX rate applied to each line item is shown in the invoice breakdown on our platform each month.
You can use Remote to add and invite any number of direct and EOR employees and contractors without minimum requirements or fees. To process payroll for your direct employees, you must use our Global Payroll product. Whether you’re hiring employee number 1, or employee number 1,000, we’re here to help you scale.
We don’t charge platform, onboarding or setup fees for our HR management, EOR and Contractor Management products. You only pay for the product(s) you select, based on your needs. Customers using our Payroll product do incur an implementation fee to set up your entities. There is also a recurring payroll delivery fee that covers the infrastructure required for timely global payouts and secure payroll file delivery, ensuring reliable execution and transparent pricing for critical payroll operations.
