Why choose Remote’s EOR services?

  • Entities we own, not middlemen

Remote directly employs your hire through our own entity in their country. No third company acts as an intermediary.

  • Uncapped indemnification for employment services

An uncapped indemnity for Employment Services covers claims that arise from Remote’s breach of its obligations or warranties.

  • Local teams looking after yours

Your team is supported by Remote employees in market, not a partner network. Our in-country specialists have an average of more than 10 years’ local experience.

  • Transparent, predictable pricing

A single fee per employee with no hidden charges and no markup on local costs. Customers save $74,000 on average compared with setting up their own entity.

Organisations hiring overseas for the first time turn to Remote to make it happen.

Our previous EOR had outsourced payroll in that country. They picked the cheapest local entity available, and the outcome was poor. Transitioning people from the old EOR to Remote was effortless. Because Remote maintains entities in each country, you are directly part of Remote rather than an unknown third party.

Annie LeachChief People Officer, Join Talent

Through Remote, we gain access to country-specific legal counsel and tax teams via a single point of contact. I don’t have to pay horrendous fees or handle these matters myself. It makes managing things much easier and more efficient.

Sophie BrügmannHead of operations, Lessmore

We’re outsourcing what we value most: the communication, the guidance and the care of our people. That makes trust in our partner essential. If something goes wrong, our colleagues don’t view it as a relationship with Remote — they see it as our responsibility. Our partnership with Remote is a genuine collaboration.

Remote broadens our options, allowing us to remove location as a constraint and make the best hiring choices for the business.

Employer of Record FAQs

An Employer of Record, or EOR, is a business that legally engages someone on your behalf in a country where you do not have an entity. Remote becomes the legal employer, operates payroll, withholds tax and administers benefits in line with that country's law. You retain responsibility for directing the work, deciding pay and managing the person day to day, just as you would for any other member of your team.
