IPRs are transferred directly from the Remote local entity, which provides employment services, to you, the customer, under our Terms of Service. We do not perform intra-group transfers. We establish and control our employing legal entities in every country where we operate, so there is no need to rely on third parties for IP matters.

As the Employer of Record (EOR), we accept full responsibility for the transfer and provide an indemnity to protect you should any issue arise.

Am I guaranteed to receive my IPRs?

Yes. Clients are guaranteed to receive the IPRs derived from the employee under the Terms of Service signed by both parties. This forms a material part of Remote’s obligation.

Can you provide a written assurance that Remote IP Guard works?

Yes. We hold a letter from an external law firm that we can provide to clients on request.

Have there ever been instances where Remote IP Guard failed?

No. There have been no reports of Remote IP Guard failing.

Does the IP Guard have any adverse effect on me as a client of Remote?

No. Because clients are covered by Remote IP Guard and are guaranteed to receive their IPRs, there are no adverse effects. This is one of the advantages of working with a professional EOR company.

Qualified lawyers in the employee’s country prepare and routinely review this documentation, and you can always access these records directly on our platform.
