Getting started
Your company’s onboarding journey
Complete the straightforward steps to set up your company's Remote account and select a plan. You can opt for a pay-as-you-go (month-to-month) plan or choose a TEAM plan, which lets you purchase seats in bulk at a discounted rate. During sign-up, you will also be asked to agree to the Remote Terms of Service.
After registering your company, sign in to the Remote platform and open the "onboarding" tab to add your new employee(s) or contractor(s). You will be asked to provide details such as country, personal email, job title, start date, salary and other relevant information.
We ask that your employee begins the Remote registration if they have not done so already. An HR onboarding specialist for their region will be assigned, who will issue the employment contract and guide them through every step.
Soon after your first employee(s) complete onboarding, we will upload your initial invoice directly into Remote under the billing section. The invoice will include a summary of costs and a breakdown by country and by employee.
With them every step
Your employee’s onboarding journey
Once you have added an employee to Remote, our automated onboarding guides them through setting up their profile.
Our team verifies the employee’s identity and reviews all required documentation.
The HR onboarding specialist assigned to the employee will contact them to answer any questions and support a smooth transition.
Using the details supplied by you and the hire during onboarding, we draft documents and contracts that comply with the local labour laws and requirements where the employee is based.
Where relevant, we enrol the employee into the appropriate benefits package.
Should the employee have no questions, signing usually takes only a few minutes. If amendments or concerns arise, Remote’s team of experts will assist to keep the process running smoothly. Once the contract is signed, the employee may legally begin work on the start date specified in their contract.
After you review and approve the invoice, we will upload the employee’s payslip to Remote and make sure the payment is sent to their bank account on schedule.
