How Remote is supporting displaced Ukrainian citizens
The European Union has invoked the Temporary Protection Directive to extend protections for Ukrainians. Twenty-seven EU member states have agreed to issue residence permits valid for 1 year, which are automatically renewable for an additional year. This directive provides Ukrainians the right to choose where they live, work and belong.

When you onboard an employee, you’ll be asked to confirm eligibility by providing documentation proving the employees’ refugee status and their legal right to work or relevant work permit(s) in the host country.
The 15% discount is valid on annual credit billing only and expires 12 months after acceptance of our terms of service.
This discount applies to any company that uses Remote to hire refugee talent. Employers must supply documentation proving employees’ refugee status and a valid right to work or work permit(s) in their host country, which must differ from their home country or previous place of residence.
The Remote for Refugees promotion will remain open until31 December 2026for companies and employees that qualify; at that point Remote reserves the right to end, modify or extend this promotion under the same or different terms.
The 15% discount applies to all employees hired by an eligible company via Remote’s EOR service for a period of 12 months from acceptance of our terms of service.
Provided the refugee has the legal right to work (for example, a work permit), we can employ them in any country where we have an entity. Check ourcountry explorerfor our live countries.
