Getting started
Your company’s onboarding journey
Follow the straightforward steps to set up your company's account on the Remote platform and choose a plan. You can opt for a pay-as-you-go (month-to-month) plan or a TEAM plan, which lets you buy seats in bulk at a discounted rate. During sign-up you'll also be required to accept the Remote Terms of Service.
After you've registered your company, sign in to the Remote platform and go to the "onboarding" tab to add your new employee(s) or contractor(s). You'll be asked to provide information such as their country, personal email, job title, start date, salary and more.
We encourage your employee to start their registration on Remote if they haven't already. They'll be assigned a region-specific HR onboarding specialist who will issue the employment contract and guide them through every step.
Soon after your first employees finish onboarding, we'll upload your initial invoice into Remote under the billing section. The invoice will include a summary of costs and a breakdown by country and employee.
With them at every step
Your employee’s onboarding journey
After you add an employee to Remote, our automated onboarding walks them through completing their profile.
Our team verifies the employee’s identity and reviews all relevant documentation.
The HR onboarding specialist assigned to your employee contacts them to answer questions and ensure a smooth transition.
We use the information you and the hire supplied during onboarding to draft documents and contracts that comply with the labour laws and requirements in the employee’s jurisdiction.
If a benefits package applies, we enrol your employee in it.
If the employee has no questions, signing takes just a few minutes. Should they request changes or have concerns, Remote’s experts will assist to keep the process on track. Once signed, the employee may legally start work on the contract's specified start date.
After you review and approve the invoice, we’ll upload the employee’s payslip to Remote and make sure the payment reaches their bank account on time.
