You invoice your client as usual. The difference is that you upload the invoice to Remote. The client approves the invoice and sends payment to us, after which we forward funds directly to your bank account.
Yes, you can pick the currency you'd like to be paid in; this depends on your withdrawal method's currency or the billing currency you have set for your company on Remote.
You can set your invoice amount in either your local withdrawal currency or your employer's billing currency. Based on that choice, Remote will convert funds received from your employer into your local withdrawal currency automatically. For payments processed via Wise, Remote guarantees that you will receive the full invoiced amount in your local currency and protects you from currency fluctuations.
For payments processed via SWIFT ("wire" payments), our payment partners may charge a small amount that will be deducted from your payment ($5 USD – $15 USD depending on the bank). Additionally, your local bank may charge further fees. Please check with your bank for details. Remote does not charge any additional fees for same-currency payments facilitated via local payment networks.
