The European Union has invoked the Temporary Protection Directive to provide protection to Ukrainians. Twenty-seven EU member states have agreed to issue Ukrainian citizens residence permits for one year, with an automatic extension for an additional year. This directive lets Ukrainians decide where they wish to live, work, and belong.

As a company that enables global employment, we consider it our moral duty to support refugees through dignified work.
We support employers who hire refugee talent and have simplified access by applying a meaningful discount to Employer of Record (EOR) services. This allows any refugee who is lawfully eligible to work in a country where we maintain an entity to be onboarded via our platform at a reduced cost. Alongside facilitating refugee employment, we also highlight organisations that can help employers find refugee candidates.

When you onboard an employee, you will be required to confirm eligibility by supplying documentation that proves the employee’s refugee status and valid right to work or appropriate work permit(s) in their host country.
The 15% discount applies only to annual credit billing and expires 12 months after acceptance of our terms of service.
This discount is available to any company that uses Remote to hire refugee talent. Employers must provide documentation proving the employees’ refugee status and lawful right to work or appropriate work permit(s) in their host country, which must be different from their home country or previous country of residence.
The Remote for Refugees promotion will remain open untilDecember 31, 2026for qualifying companies and employees; at that point Remote reserves the right to end, modify, or extend this promotion under the same or different terms.
The 15% discount applies to all employees hired by an eligible company via Remote’s EOR service for a period of 12 months from acceptance of our terms of service.
